Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You're responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of traveler details you provide for bookings. You can manage or delete your account anytime in Account settings.

planet.store offers a free tier and paid memberships (currently Navigator and Family), billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Introductory offers (for example, $1 for the first 14 days of a monthly plan) convert to the plan's standard price unless you cancel before the intro period ends. You can cancel anytime; paid features remain active until the end of the billing period already paid for. Prices may change with notice effective from your next billing cycle.

When you book travel through planet.store or through our partner links, partners pay us a commission, and we return a share of it to you as cashback. Cashback is not a bank deposit, interest-bearing account, or investment — it is a rebate that becomes yours as described here.

Lifecycle. Cashback first appears as pending when your booking is confirmed. For bookings made on planet.store it becomes available 30 days after your trip completes (hotel check-out, final flight, or cruise return) — the window in which trips can be canceled or refunded. Bookings completed on a partner's site follow that partner's confirmation and lock window. If a booking is canceled, refunded, or the commission is reversed, the matching cashback is reversed too.

Processing fee. A 3.50% payment-processing fee is deducted when cashback is computed. Every amount shown to you is already net of this fee — the number you see is the number you get.

Using it. Available cashback can be applied to bookings at checkout (up to 100% of a booking) or withdrawn to the payout method saved in your account. Referral rewards and any promotional credit are spendable at checkout but not withdrawable as cash. Cashback and credits are personal to your account and not transferable or assignable.

Integrity. We may withhold or reverse cashback earned through fraud, self-referral, abuse of promotions, or bookings made contrary to a partner's program rules.

Referral rewards are paid to both sides when a referred friend joins a paid plan, and may be clawed back if that membership is canceled or refunded within the qualification window. Referral rewards are spendable on bookings and never withdrawable as cash. Self-referrals, bulk distribution, and paid placement of referral links without disclosure are not permitted.

Some bookings are fulfilled by planet.store as the merchant (for example, certain flights and hotel stays we process end-to-end); others are completed on a partner's site after you click out from planet.store. In both cases the travel itself is provided by third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, car and cruise operators) under their own terms, fare rules, and cancellation policies, which you accept when booking. Refunds and changes follow the supplier's rules.

Fare constructions. Some itineraries we surface use advanced constructions (split tickets, nearby airports, and similar). Constructions we mark as risky may violate an airline's contract of carriage or leave segments unprotected during disruptions; you book them at your own discretion and risk. You are responsible for passports, visas, health requirements, and arriving on time.

Price estimates, savings scores, and comparisons are informational, based on data available at the time, and not a guarantee that a specific price will be available when you book.

Don't scrape or resell the Service, probe or disrupt our systems, misrepresent your identity, submit false “found it elsewhere” prices, or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, planet.store is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of travel suppliers and partners. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and continued use means acceptance. You may close your account at any time; any available balance should be spent or withdrawn first, since deletion is permanent. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
